You'll find invites for your onboarding sessions in your inbox once you receive your laptop.
We are paid on the 28th of the month unless that date is a weekend or public holiday, in which case we are paid the working day prior. We don’t pay in arrears; any pay you receive at the end of a month is for that month.
If your employment begins after the 20th of the month you will be paid for the first time the following month, this will include any back pay as necessary.
To ensure we can pay you, please ensure you bring your bank details with you on your first day. You will be asked to input your details to our HR system, Workday.
We don’t enforce a strict dress code. We’d like you to wear what you feel is appropriate for your image and ours. To offer some guidance; jeans, trainers, t shirts, sandals are all acceptable, all we ask is for you not to wear football/ sports shirts, no offensive symbols/slogans, avoid anything too revealing and ensure your outfit is clean and tidy.
Should you be visiting or meeting clients or external providers we ask you to adopt a business casual dress code or dress appropriately for the client’s culture.
The purpose of the probation period is to allow a dedicated period of time for learning and getting up to speed with our company and your role. Probation will be reviewed throughout your first few months with a final sign off meeting at the end. If further support is needed the probation period may be extended.
We hope you feel like Equifax is right for you, don't put too much pressure on yourself, there’s a lot to learn. We like feedback, both giving and receiving so please continue to tell us what you need and expect we will want to get the best from you too.
Within a short walking distance you will find shops, cafes, cash machines and restaurants. Your lunch break is one hour which should give you plenty of time to see what’s around.
You can pick up snacks on site plus we have fridges and microwaves if you choose to bring in your own food.
You will no doubt be considering your various commuting options. We recommend wherever possible to try out different routes or transport methods to find the most suitable commute for you.
We are members of a number of travel schemes and can therefore provide discounted travel on public transport. More information about each of the travel schemes available to you will be provided when you start.
By now you should have received an invitation from our screening partners First Advantage to kick off your background checks. You will be prompted to create a secure account and complete the questions. You will be asked to upload copies of various documents such as passport, utility bills, qualification certificates if appropriate. You’ll also need to know dates of employment / education etc so it will help if you have a copy of your CV to hand when completing the information.
Our screening is thorough due to the environment we work in, if you have any concerns at all or if you have any history you would like to talk to us about please reach out to your recruiter.
Screening generally takes about four weeks, if you have lived abroad it will likely take a little longer. Your screening needs to be complete prior to your first day, if we need to we may push your start date back, we’ll make every effort to avoid this, but if this is the case we will give you as much notice as possible.
